Data Collection Notes
During the beginning of the census and each round, data collectors has been trained on the data collection tools and data collection procedure. On average, the data collection takes 20min for each households. At the end of each fiscal year of Ethiopia, the community leader have been briefed the finding of the results. There are 21 data collectors and 5 supervisors for the site. Each week they bring the data to their supervisors. The supervisors bring the data to the centre every 15 days. During update rounds, data collectors register new family members and households, pregnancy observation and outcome, death, in and out migrants, marital change for females, and any individuals missed in the baseline data and new houses. All data collection materials (questionnaires) were translated to Amharic language.

Supervision
There are five supervisors for the data collection process. By random selection of the households, field supervisors and research team members supervise 10% and 1%, respectively, of the households' data collected within each round by re-interviewing. Once per 2-3 week, field supervisors with the data collectors together to see the data collection process.
